Spring Garden Preschool

The no pack lunch for Tuesday, May 8th will be a meat and cheese soft shell taco, cinnamon twists and fruit.  The cost is $3.00; please pay your teacher.

May 7 through May 11 is teacher appreciation week.  Please go by your child’s classroom and remember your teachers this week by just dropping by to say “Hello”.   Great job teachers and teacher assistants; we are so proud to have you as a part of our staff!!!

This year our end of year fundraiser will be a Hawaiian Luau.  There will be food, games, prizes, bounce houses and  classroom and silent auctions.  Please join us on Wednesday, May 23rd from 6 – 8 pm for an evening of fun.  Put on your Hawaiian attire, your auction caps, and help us make this a great fundraiser.  The proceeds will go to updating media and computers for the Preschool and the Preschool Office.  Admission will be $5.00 and will cover food and all activities except for the auction items.  RSVP letters will be sent to you soon and are to be returned by Friday, May 18th.

Please place your order for this adorable keepsake.  It is the first edition of the SGPS Annual.  Enjoy your child’s and classmates pictures along with a recipe section.  The cost is $20.00 and the combination book consists of approximately 30 color pages.

The Pre-K Sunflower Class will graduate on Friday, May 25th at noon.  Please mark your calendar now to attend the graduation followed by a picnic out on the West Lawn, weather permitting.  More information will be sent home along with an invitation for your family.

We want to thank all the families that participated in our program Sunday, April 29th at SSUMC.  We had over 60 here representing the preschool!!  The children were awesome and we are so proud of all our singers!!

Also, we would like to thank Kathy Drum for donating our new Quick Books Program and helping with the installation process.

The last day of the regular school year will be Thursday, May 31st.  Our Summer Session will begin on Friday,  June 1, 2012.  Hours will be 9:00 am to 1:00 pm; NO SPELL offered during the summer.
