WELCOME BACK NEWSLETTER

August 9th, 2018

Parents-

We would like to welcome everyone back to another year here at SGPS!  We hope everyone had a wonderful summer!  Here at SGPS we do our very best to keep our parents informed.  Every week I will send out an email with any events that may take place that week.  Each month you will receive an email that will include a newsletter and your child’s classroom calendar and curriculum.  I would like to take a moment to highlight a few of our policies and share with you some important information.

Tuition – Tuition is due on the 1st of every month.  You will have 5 business days to pay your account balance in full before a $25 late fee will be added to your account.  Statements will be emailed to the address you have provided.  If you don’t receive a statement, please notify the Preschool Office.

We have a No Peanut Policy here at SGPS.  Please keep this in mind when packing your child’s lunch.  We do have several children that have peanut allergies, one in particular that is extremely allergic to all nuts.

Please make sure to sign up for our Mobile Text Alert System.  We will use this system to send out any weather related changes, and any emergency related issues.  If you need help signing up for the alert system please contact the Preschool Office.

Each classroom will spend time on the playground each day, weather permitting.  Please make sure to send your child to school with tennis shoes, or closed toe shoes.

We ask that you not send toys from home to school with your child.  We would not want the toy to get lost while here at SGPS.  We do understand that there are times that this can not be avoided, we just ask that the toy is put in the child’s backpack once he or she are in their classroom, or the toy be taken home by the parent.

Our No Pack lunches will resume in September.  The charge for No Pack is $5.

Curriculum will begin on Tuesday September 4th.

If your child will be staying fro SPELL, please remember to sign them up.  The sign up sheet is located on the table outside of the Nursery.

If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Preschool Office at 276-466-8505, or email springgardennews1@gmail.com.
